Java Internet of Things, Java with Eclipse Kura

Hi, I m a Java programmer and wanna explore into IoT using Eclipse Kura (Java)
so now looking for any one that have same interest in IoT to have some sharing and discussion

Study case: input from sensors > process by program > output reports or send notification

Hi I’m hardware developer thus I only handle the device part only like the PCB and firmware. I still have basic knowledge on the big picture

Great! We might able to partner up to do something good

May i know what kind of devices or functions u have experienced with? So far i know is sensor for tempurature and lights control, it a bit too common to me, and hard to get into a great business model

I wish to know something more about location based of devices

why not u start with beacon based devices? just tag the beacon with coordinate for initial step. then move forward with gps-based hardware.
