Just upgrade my streamyx to 4mbps..Yesterday register, today done already...But, still cannot achieve full speed..Need to wait for 2 days..

Your ip is premium ip? 218.x.x.x?

For 4mb line, the technician need to come and check ur line. If your line can support 4mb, then they will proceed with the upgrade...

I face slow speed at night (sometimes). Last night speed only around 1mbps..I thought because the ip core (only get 115.x.x.x, still waiting for their 218.x.x.x ip..huhu)

@MX510, do you know when they will solve the problem?

It seems that the speed to europe site decreasing after around 9 am...haih..
only max speed for local content....

Connected to the same ip range as u, but speed around 1.3mbps only..haih..that for local speed..To international link? Much worse....
When will this problem solve.....

After long waiting..Today called premium careline, and the person did inform me that there's service interruption for wangsa maju area because they currently doing migration between dslam setapak and wangsa maju..So, they ask me to wait a lil bit longer as their technician cannot give estimate date when the interruption will over....

Speed capped yet again after 7am....haih...fast speed to local site, but crawling speed to international site...

Of course you get full speed because the server is in KL...Try doing the speedtest to europe and us server, confirm slow....

The problem start since last week...for most of us..Not sure the exact cause of the problem...So, we can just wait and see when will this problem end.

BTW, they downgrade your speed? To what? 4092? Before this?

First, your ip is still 115.x.x.x right? Meaning that u just registered ur 4mbps acc..Usually around 2-4 days, you will get full speed of 4mbps.
Second, all 4mbps user will get 218.x.x.x ip..That what we called premium ip. If in 2-3 weeks, u still did not get your 218 ip, called 100 and ask them...
Third, check in your modem, what speed do their capped u (Data Rate/Line Rate)? 4024kbps? or 5112kbps? Some is capped at 5mbps, and some are capped at 4mbps...

This is what I do...I called 100, tell them that I'm 4mbps user. They then frwd me to their premium cs. Tell the premium cs that my line is slow, very slow...and i'm still did get my 218.x.x.x ip..still stuck with 115.x.x.x. The cs then tell me to wait for around 2-3 hours, and walla, my ip is changed to 218.x.x.x. Called them at morning, and by afternoon, already get my 218 ip...

Try ar now...u already use for 2 weeks right? I wait for 1 weeks, then called them regarding the ip issue...

Usually they will capped u at 5mbps so that u will get true 4mbps speed..
For the time being, around 7am till 1am, streaming will be lagging (my observation)..
RS, not sure coz rarely download using RS..But can get up to 200~300kbps in my case..Dont know can get this speed constantly or not from RS..
Local browsing is fast...Load soccernet, bbc.co.uk quite fast...

Last 2 weeks, the speed is like hell slow..but now seems to be normal already..

So, what can I tell, it worth it if u is a heavy download user...

As for me, I usually get around 500~590kbps HTTP download. FTP download usually around 450~530kbps, only if there's no problem with TM routing...

Others I think around this range also...

If u look carefully, there's column that show start date and finished date...

Nope..cannot terminate. U have signed the contract..If RM350, then lucky coz quite small amount. But I think the penalty is RM160 x month remaining...
