Hmmm.. I already lodged a complaint with mcmc as well as streamyx. Seems most of us connected to the wangsa maju B-RAS are experiencing these problems. Local speed already this slow, what do you expect from international sites?
Definitely slow local speed got nothing to do with APCN 2 right TMNUT?
this shows something is DEFINITELY wrong with TM's own routing/backbone/equipment/FUP and not admitting it cause in the end of the day, rebates need to be given out losing more customers due to tm's own F**K up fair usage policy..
So giving your loyal 4mb customer a speed of 0.1 - 0.3 mbps is fair to you TMNUT? and yet you boasting about HSBB ? bullcrap tmnut...

thats what the tm premier team told me also.. I'm staying in jalan kuching and also connected to wangsa maju exchange. I guess all our fibre optic lines for 4mb are connected to wangsa maju. then congestion there... especially at peak hours? sucks isn't it?
But the issue is that some people are also connected to wangsa maju exchange too (also 4mb) but they are not having the same problems as us. I guess there could be 2 sets or more of exchange in wangsa maju. I was told my b-ras is WMU2... i guess WMU1 was not selected for the FUP trial cause my friend's connection is up full speed.
plus the iprange he was able to connect to are more and different then ours. I'm only able to connect to 218.111.12, 14, sometimes 0 & 23. while he gets like 17, 18, etc where currently no routing problems.
Tmnet mentioned about server migrating? why dont they just get a new server at the exchange, set it up ready then get us on there. at least get the 4mb liners up and running first since premier ma?? nonsense la tmnet now have to wait until after raya? crazy... i wouldnt count too much on rebate though, cause they just keep quiet and pretend nothing happened
I was also told a new and different IP address would be implemented soon, dunno when yet... so expect another set of hiccups too...

here's an update:
After my slamming letter to tmnet's help and mcmc (i quoted both the report no with tmnet & mcmc), i told them about the issues about WMU2 slow speed if compared to WMU1 & WMU3. I told them how bout the do a test for me. change my BRAS from WMU2 to either WMU1 or WMU3..
suprisingly they were willing to do it for me. and there you have it. my speed although not back to normal fully, i was able to connect to at least 2.5mbps. Although the IP ranges i was able to connect is still the same (seems easier to connect to 218.111.0 & 14 for now). I just tested it out at 5.15pm just now (considered to be the start of peak hour)
the real test would be night time, when the real peak hour starts. will keep you guys updated.

why waste time and energy going to tmpoint?
Shoot a mail to tmnet help and copy to MCMC, they will be the one calling you back the next day..
Just got an update again on my case: migrating is indeed in the works cause wmu2 is congested. as what you mentioned Sean. you are right, only sometime in october it would be ready... heck of a long time.
