The installer called to TM branch and the person told him that it can't be supported.So he said he can't do it for me because once if he made the upgrade and I met any problem later to complain to TM,he will get blamed and may lose the license as well.

just shared with you, it took them 1 month to process my application for upgrade to 4mb, when the installer came with the billion modem and checked within few minutes he said: "tak boleh pasang,line tak support, exhange port belum upgrade" all sort of bullsxxt, then he left. and i gotta know that my nextdoor neighbour are using 4mb the since 2007 till now, WHAT TO YOU MEAN TAK BOLEH PASANG !!! should be "BOLEH" .
i was so piss-off, i went to the TM HQ@pantai lodge a complaint and do same to the following tm point (pandan indah, bangsar) about my complaint.
then i called 1300889515, the level 1 CS handle my call, i fak them up, the CS have no option have transfer it to level 2 CS(premier team), i told them the scenario, and i insisted to get 2nd vendor(installer) to come and check, at first they said cannot be changed, it was assigned by telekom and bla bla bla, i told them, assigned is done by computer auto-generate or done by human being ??? he said: by our staff in installer dept. so change it lar.....
the next day, i was capped at 4096 kbps and the installer came, activated my account, after few hours i'm connected 4mb .all the hassle should not be happenned if they worked as team. for your info my location is at ampang and cheras, streamyx is the only one solution in my area.

BTW, if your currently using 2mb it should able to support 4mb, upgrade should not be a problem.
as what the installer told me.
