Hi, I want to ask that anyone of you here staying nearby PJ Central (SS2, Sec 17, Sec 14, Sec 13) is using this package of 4MB?

I called 100 for the status and they told me yes.
However, I went to TMpoint and they told me that my area is not available yet.

The problem is, I even ask 100 to double confirm with my house phone no. and they say YES!! YES!! YES!!.. Damn it, should I go TM point for 2nd time or not for today..

Today I went there again, they told me it is not available.. AGAIN!.. I pester them to refer to 100 and they said that all are using same system.. After that, she went into the office to check, and brought out a complain form for me..  asked me to fill in the form to complain to 100!!

today a technician came to my house at 8pm to upgarde my line to 4M but now my modem still wrote 1M... speedtest my line shows 850kbps... em... dunno when the technician upgrade my line to 4M...

My only complain about this 2mbps and 4mbps package is that they need to send an engineer to your location to test out the connection first.

I went to TMPoint to sign up ... they mentioned that the engineer will set an appointment to come over to check if my area is supported (already listed as supported in the website). However, the engineer never calls up after a few days.

I called the Steramyx helpline and was told that I need to go back to TMpoint to check the status ... i was like .. WTF!! Can't you all check it?

Even signing up is a problem.... geeze

Well Mr Alien , I think you can't. Check out few pages back , I've posted the official requirement for 2Mbps and 4Mbps.

Anyway , 4mbps is okay. The think I like bout it its the upload speed , not the download. I've managed to get like 60KiloBytes/sec for upload. Now that is great !

Who to ask regarding the 4MB availability apart from going to TMpoint. The people at 100 wasn't helpful at all.

Speed looks decent on my side... at 12pm i was clocking 335kb/s now its 230kb/s average. I think it maybe due to seeds right now. Funny thing is when i complained they said they have increased my speed to higher than 4mb... not sure what that means... maybe i'll go look at my adsl stats n report back l8er.

From 11am-12am my norma speed was around 30-60kb/s

U should already know that they block a port range. Infact that knowledge was 4 over years old.

My port has been the same for 7 years. They cap ur account. They set perimetres to the QOS of ur account. It is not a universal setting for everyone.

guys how to prevent my modem from disconnecting after 4 or 5 hours? i call TM they said their site is ok....

cannot standlah.....what to leave pc on also no point coz guarantee discon after 4 or 5 hours later....sighhhh
