haha not forgetting your wallet is being drained 4 times faster..

i dont see the point actually of subscribing to faster speeds esp in malaysia..
since our international link is only "ye" big...

if i sub 4mbps what "real" speed will i be getting ? since this 4mbps is still under their so called "best effort", maybe the first 6th month they will monitor and make us happy and later on its back to square 1.. the speed will drop the quality will drop and etc..

whats the point.. even now with our 512kbps and 1mbps package, we can't even get a stable traffic/throughput...

i say we all are much hated but forced streamyx users just ignore this promotion.. until they managed to provide reliable service for their lower packages...

they seem to forget that, they intro new package and upgrade their equipment a little bit, but they FORGOT THE MOST important thing.. THE DELIVERY aka PHONE LINE QUALITY, which happen to suck is soo soo many ways and places

there will always be stupid customers around .. no matter what...

the 198 is just a scam.. its the same with all promotions starting is 198 and ori price is this amount.. later one they will come out with a better pricing.. and so on..
it's call marketing hopefully if later on the price drop those who have subscribe for 198 will be able to lower/switch to the new offer..

i think they installation fee.. they will charge cause their engineer will come and check to see if the line quality is acceptable or not...

well there is always the 1 year warranty hehe just say dont know leh the modem just died.. dont know if it works or not.. lol

still pending we are all waiting for rayfoo hehehee
even though its good news.. it will be a short live one..
cause as with all other streamyx service it will suck when they can't cope
if they can't cope they will throttle rather than upgrading..

so your in a way saying.. that we all should just shut up and let tm have a day light robbery spree ??

where can like that, customer should have some right and SLA agreement what..

well the frist thing people in their right mind would complain and see if action can be taken, second to that is write an official letter but we must have a leader thats where tmnet/streamyx user group come's in with jeffooi on the helm.

are you sure ? according to a RUMOUR last time.. vodaphone wanted to buy over telekom malaysia, but goverment intervene to prevent them. same goes with digi/telenor.. they have money for wimax/3g project but government as usual wanted to protect so called "bumi" company ... further more government is forcing digi/telenor to sell off their stake to < 50% which is no more control/say in the company.. so in a way we understood why ananda wanted full control of maxis


true true.. if you look properly in HK all their internet speed it as the max rated for local traffic while international is cap at 20mbps for their 100mbps package..

i wonder how on abdullah's mind we wanted a MSC/k-economy when the fundimentals supporting such vision is soo soo lacking and terrible..

even if you compare with our so called closest neighbour singapore and thailand.. do you know that both are them are so much better then us.. maybe we can fore-go singapore since its a so called "first world" by malaysia let's take thailand its on the same level playing field as us but they are so much better.

reason.. policy , they main vision is to change the country.. for us our main vision is my pocket must be full first.. the rest and go and *tot*...

but then from a great many experiences that we all screamyxx users experience and share on the forum, i dare to say for a fact.. that it will suck... to a certain extend..

ps: don't flame me i'm just stating the obvious, even though some choose to ignore it.

well according to some the 4mbps is a separated system, that is connected to the metro-e network with its own dslam, not like the normal streamyx users which are connected to the atm network...

check a few pages back there is a dude name rayfoo that has the service already and he also showed us some bt download speed and all..
its all good and delicious but what we want, is it worth getting it , in long run will quality of service ended up like the streamyx that we have ?

we'll just have to wait then
