this is mine
the attenuation is around 40 so i guess mine is not good enough for the 4mb package? btw it says that my line is 3mb/512 but the maximum http download speed i can get is only around 180kb/sec edit: ah wtf after i changed the modulation to glite the margin has changed to 24 Us and 15 Ds. Ds attenuation is now 39 while Ups is 38. Does it mean it's better to check to Mmode? This post has been edited by Ash: Jun 3 2007, 07:13 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(archonixm @ Jun 4 2007, 03:59 AM) My opinion, u can, since u already at 3mb. 4mb is just add abit attenuation and decrease 5-10 SNR. U count urself. even though mine is detected as 3mb but my download speed is only up to 180kb/sec maximum. does it say something? |

QUOTE(sailou @ Apr 14 2009, 01:16 AM) I am capped at 4096 for my 4mb line. When i call them up to rectify this matter, they claimed this is what it's supposed to be. What i should i do? The claim was a joke. 4096 is perfectly fine for a 4mb line. Asking for 5xxx is bullshit. 99% of the 1 mb users have 1025/512. Does it mean they should ask for 2xxx ? If your download can go up to 400kb/sec + then it's fine already. |

Any of you managed to upgrade from 1mbps to 4mbps without having the connection down for weeks?

QUOTE(llkh @ Jun 16 2009, 09:41 PM) the TM contractor has came and checked and he said everything is OK and can be upgraded frm 1mbps to 4mbps. Checked with TM, they say on their system, I am already running 4mbps..but till now, my router is still showing 1mbps...really puzzles me..how long must I wait for the upgrade to really happen and what can I do now? When did you sign up for the upgrade? |
