It's a bad day!The installor came to my house in the morning and checked up my line.My line attenuation is 45.5db which is higher than the requirement 40db,so he can't do the upgrade work for me.
I CAN'T ENJOY 4M!!! |

The thing is this, if the 2nd installer just lets the user have the 4mb just for the sake of pleasing the user, and the status of the line is unchanged (i.e. very bad attenuation), then the user will still be unhappy and end up paying more for a service that is not supposed to be offered in the first place. Please be certain of the line conditions before you put out more of your hard earned money.

The problem is if your line is weak and you insist on doing 4Mbps. Its not going to be pretty stable , slightest noise can disrupt and you'll face disconnections. Whats your SNR Margin anyway

This time,the guy directly told me that the installer had checked the server and its signal is quite weak and can't be improved.So the cs guy told me that I only can change the telephone number in order to transfer my line into another nearest server(exchange).it's a simple process, but they make it like complicated.
