Started test today to LA server at 9.12pm
[attachmentid=1104123]

Test was finishing at 9.15pm and look at the speed
[attachmentid=1104125]

After gather all my data...gona shoot to NOC already. Last time they give me NOC number and say i can call them directly, but i misplaced their number. Anyone got NOC's number?

I think they are re-routing all the other normal IP users that have problems with the quake to our 218.111 premium routes... Look at this

[attachmentid=1104155]
2.8KB/s...it just feels like normal ip address route now...

I tried used my 1Mbps account, and got 115.135.X.X was more faster than my 4Mbps with 218.111.X.X. That's bullshit lol.

Serious?!

Show u something

[attachmentid=1104446]

16 connections open to server only get 50KB/sec+-

used to give 180kbps with 4-8 connections

Good Morning,

I just get a call 5 min ago from the Premium CS Service

She said IPNOC already fix the problems, i remotely change my Load Balance settings and it seems they already fix it.

I said i'm at work pls do not close the report and i will check when i get back home

Andrew how's yours now?

Others?
*
Still the same here, they said they fixed right? Let me speedtest and see the difference, yesterday DL with one connection max 3-5kbps, today around 10-15. "Fixed" i guess.

user posted image
not fixed to US, pings are low, but it seems that the download speed is throttled, there is no reason for ping to be at 300+ms but that low download speed. "How stupid, Using earthquake as an excuse i guess"

When they say fixed already do they mean your account only or the whole 218 block

As i'm typing this i'm making a very detailed report to TM on all the matters...speed for 218 ip slower than normal IP for international connections, frequent DNS issues etc... currently those ppl put me on hold again...talking to higher supervisor kononya...

Edit: Okay report made for

- slow international connection for 218.111 ip block especially to USA
- latency issues
- frequent DNS problems, time outs, high pings
- Delayed e-mail problem (It's a problem i'm facing, you might send an email to me today, but i could receive it 2weeks to a month later, imagine the losses i can suffer) ==

Consider yourself lucky and pray that this connection lasts for you...many here started bad, then went to good, extremely good, then now bad again.

I've just receive a call from, if I've not mistaken, TM's top management. It is expected that the slowdowns might continue to 5th August, but might be solved earlier.

There is nothing much they can do as it's a fault at the international countries linkage link point, which cause them to lose almost 20Gbps of bandwidth. It was also said that they are "salvaging" every little bit of bandwidth available for users.

I think that explains why downloads are so slow it's quite hard to download almost anything in US for me, youtube seems to be throttled too, but normal webpages are still loading within reasonable time.

@MX510, no idea how they managed to "fix your problem" and say "It's has been fixed for all 218.111". You said that your connection was improving too, but then all the speedtest results after that show otherwise for other users...

Nothing to report premium IP back to normal

If you did not do such extensive speed testing like mine, please dont say it's back to normal.

Besides you got special treatment from TM i think, that day u say TM fix all 218.111 IP already, but later all user speedtest and show here it's all freaking slow.

TM wants to send a "flying squad" technical team to my house to troubleshoot the international connection problem.
Can you imagine that? I can get max 0.7 to Singapore and max about 0.2mbps to USA, Russian Federation, Europe Region, Australia and New Zeland and they want to come to my house to troubleshoot...

flying squad i assume means "very technical" people...i think they could even improve my connection when they are pretending that my computer is at fault... then might even pakat with their technician in Network Operation Center to improve my line suddenly when they are doing stuff in my house... for me, it has come to a point that i don't trust them until i can accuse them in such ways...

Let me see what excuse they can come up on Monday...

How are the 218.111 ip's doing to international today?

i wonder why other IP's i've seen at this forum recently like 60 range and some 115 range appears to be quite fast...

previously i have this condition too.

that time, my download to anywhere international was slow...
say 0.2 down 0.4 up to any international server. ping were about 200ms, which made me wonder what had happen.

local was perfectly fine.

i assumed it was a APCN2 problem and was told it was a APCN2 problem by TM's flying squad, but now it seems like it's a capping job by TM.

and now it's done locally too.

I am sure that he is affected internationally. Some users simply do not interact with many problem areas. Test the following for an example:

same here... but is there any datacenter or important servers in San Diego? if not then its pointless having a fast conenction there i guess..

user posted image

if i remember correctly there is quite a big one at dallas... i dont much about this, mayb those that do VPN should know where are the important links/routes that TM use to plan their servic. I remember trace route last time i saw and address and it went though Los Angeles and Dallas...

what about to KL server or Penang server? if they give low ping but also low speed it indicates capping. That ping to singapore is 100+ms, not very accurate. If get <50ms to local and also very low speed, then it's capped
