Nothing? Most of them will get kicked out of the party when the disciplinary committee convenes. Otherwise, they resign on their own.
Prominent one is Fernandes in Johor who criticised DAP collaboration with PAS:
https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2014...-dap-scapegoat/Others sacked for criticising party leadership:
http://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/dap-...sack-38-membersEven that PAS guy who wanted to form a unity govt. with BN last time, their Dep. or V.P.
A lot more cases that are not highlighted because they are low-level members or didn't come out in the press.
They are as much a dictatorship as BN. Just that they appear cleaner at the moment. Join any party and go take a look at the internal workings.
Then tell me what happened to this fella?
Was he sacked?
And how about him?
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&...fplPk-QR9ei8KHBThose who are sacked is found out to put their own interest first before the party. The 13 members sacked because 12 of them die die want to contest as independent candidates in GE.
If Dap is same like umno, will you not be seeing their member coming out and talk to the press which is different than what the party decision is?
I did say that there will be consequences as to what they say and how big is the impact to the party and if it's for self interest. Anyway, if there is complaint Lodge within the party, discipline committee will then take action and the accused is given a chance to defend their stands.
Also politics is number game. They need support even from within the party itself , no support them high chances a certain individuals will be boycott.
It's not like one can have total freedom and talk anything without consequences. But if compare to umno, it's a different story. Umno is a total lock down.
