QUOTE(thesoothsayer @ May 12 2018, 09:15 AM) Nothing? Most of them will get kicked out of the party when the disciplinary committee convenes. Otherwise, they resign on their own. Then tell me what happened to this fella? Prominent one is Fernandes in Johor who criticised DAP collaboration with PAS: https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2014...-dap-scapegoat/ Others sacked for criticising party leadership: http://www.theedgemarkets.com/article/dap-...sack-38-members Even that PAS guy who wanted to form a unity govt. with BN last time, their Dep. or V.P. A lot more cases that are not highlighted because they are low-level members or didn't come out in the press. They are as much a dictatorship as BN. Just that they appear cleaner at the moment. Join any party and go take a look at the internal workings. Was he sacked? And how about him? https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&...fplPk-QR9ei8KHB Those who are sacked is found out to put their own interest first before the party. The 13 members sacked because 12 of them die die want to contest as independent candidates in GE. If Dap is same like umno, will you not be seeing their member coming out and talk to the press which is different than what the party decision is? I did say that there will be consequences as to what they say and how big is the impact to the party and if it's for self interest. Anyway, if there is complaint Lodge within the party, discipline committee will then take action and the accused is given a chance to defend their stands. Also politics is number game. They need support even from within the party itself , no support them high chances a certain individuals will be boycott. It's not like one can have total freedom and talk anything without consequences. But if compare to umno, it's a different story. Umno is a total lock down. |

You're talking about 12 sacked for contesting as independent. News talks about 38. And some were sacked for criticising party leadership. Even Fernandes was sacked for criticizing cooperation with PAS. Anyway, I'll stop here. Won't come to an agreement unless you experience life in a political party itself as a thinking and critical member. |

QUOTE(thesoothsayer @ May 12 2018, 01:01 PM) He's not sacked yet. Yes because party don't give them chance to contest. They die die want to contest. It's personal interest not party. You're talking about 12 sacked for contesting as independent. News talks about 38. And some were sacked for criticising party leadership. Even Fernandes was sacked for criticizing cooperation with PAS. Anyway, I'll stop here. Fernandez isn't sacked, he resign coz unhappy dap disciplinary board want to jemput him for kopi session. Abuden? Got complain lodge against him, so disciplinary board have to do something la. He no need quit, just attend the kopi session talk kok then settle. I don't think he will be sacked, maybe worst case is just suspension. Because end of the day as history shows us, dap can't accept hudud after all. |
