QUOTE(azhar75 @ May 20 2018, 11:49 PM) Oh well, to me the exclusion of 5GHz AC WiFi is more serious than lack of Type-C port... I don't understand why the 5GHz AC WiFi of Snap636 SoC for this phone has been "accidentally" deactivated...hopefully Asus will push OTA to enable back the 5GHz AC (if this is even possible...). mean this device dont have Corning Gorilla Glass protected.??????plus none 5GHZ ac wifi... erm this is a big issue with me ... quick charge 2 is ok since both 0-100% really dont have big GAP......Throwing the Corning Gorrila Glass and Qualcomm Quick-Charge 3.0 are understandable to reduce the cost...but basic 5GHz AC WiFi is a big mistake... |

QUOTE(JJKTP @ May 31 2018, 10:58 PM) Woow! That bad huh. Glad that you share your experience here. People got to know this. Btw, when was the last time you have anything to do with their RMA department? 2 year ago is the last RMA asus laptopI personally have never deal with any smartphone warranty claim. I guess I'm lucky or perhaps because i never really stick to any smartphone for more than a year. Usually no more than 10 months. Some even less than 6 months. |

QUOTE(attw @ Jun 2 2018, 09:52 PM) I was eyeing the P20 Pro to see what the hype is all about, but after getting a Qoo10 RM400 voucher couple days ago, I already placed my order. So a RM500 voucher? Hmm, maybe a OnePlus 6 coz that’s one brand I have yet to try Where does the Ok her came from bro..I’ll probably sell the P20 Pro (and also the hypothetical OnePlus 6) when this phone becomes readily available. Don’t fancy placing an order now only to wait 2-3 weeks |

The Redmi note 5 have a good ulitilzes miui seem the vanilla android ain’t save battery much if compare with the miui ... baterrry different with 25% but only have extra 10% juice to rmn5 .. by the ways need to test the standby mode also .. I don’t think ppl will straight use the device to 9hours... stand by mode how is the battery perform also is a point

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Jun 3 2018, 12:57 PM) "1 trillion" percent correct...this is where most YouTubers fail to demonstrate... 0.1% per hours standby is good.. is there include the sim in tray... Even my mi max just able to Hoke 0.25% perhours include 3g without data onI've just hard reset my LeMoto P2 last night...I do this every 6 months interval to ensure no hardware failure... As shown below, the standby drain for the past 14 hours is 0.1%/hr rate...more or less matching iPhone(s) standby drain rate... [attachmentid=9837804] Let's see what will M1 standby drain rate later (if I ever buy it...). It should be less than 0.3%/hr because non-stock Android like my Sammy Galaxy Note5 is getting 0.9%/hr under same environment... |

QUOTE(JJKTP @ Jun 11 2018, 11:41 PM) Yup that right since mi max was able to do 2% on overnight and it's pass two year device with miui..... While Asus new sd636 with more power efficient device only manage to have 5% overnight with pure Android is kind of disappointed.... That y the power management of this device with rdn 5 is really barely a small gap |

QUOTE(JJKTP @ Jun 12 2018, 11:17 PM) About the same size by the look of it. But wait till the users get to hold it in their hands. Feels the difference, quite a bit. Personal have both device in test now I’m still prefer the build quality and the picture take by Redmi note 5....when u hand on both device and you will know.. |
