Discharge of Charge Query

When we take up a housing loan, the bank will charge the property to its name. After u have fully paid up, U need to do a discharge of the charge placed on your property. Can we DIY this discharge of charge ourselves without engaging a lawyer ? If yes, what is the procedure ?

Cannot, there is no way that you can attend to the discharge of charge for your Property. The Bank will "force" you to appoint a panel solicitor firm of their own to do this. It should costs you around RM900.00. |
