But yeah, it it really is silent, that sound like a nice upgrade TBH, though you should consider cutting us early adopters a little upgrade discount because we didn't have a choice back then lol...

Yeah I'd say diminishing returns, but it's pretty much the rule once you get past a certain point in anything anyway lol.

As for temps, I've actually never seen my CPU go past 95c even at full stress test temps and with Turbo engaged, for some unknown reason even without the cooler.

Maybe it's just the types of games I play, not sure though.

True that. And hey in actual use the fans noise is not even that bad unless you're pushing the unit hard.

The massively audible KBB click of the blue switches however, is something worth thinking about (vs the more silent browns).

Does the sound lessen with Cap 2 vs Cap 1?

Also as jrlogger has mentioned before, does switching to Cap 2 lessen the "ghost typing" (registered inputs with a light touch) that sometimes happens with the original combo - or do I need the brown switches also for that?

Thx bro for the info. Seems battery life isnt that good but understandable since it focus on performance. 4 hours light surfing maybe translate to less than 2 hours video/gaming. By the way I noticed this battery pack which is to replace the hard disk drive. Do you know how much battery time it can provide and how much it will increase the overall weight?

Hey guys. My friend's ONYX currently has an inactive keyboard. The backlight doesn't appear when it boots up, and the keys don't respond in any way, shape or form. I've tried uninstalling the driver, but no luck. Any ideas?

If say my Onyx (i7 1050Ti 8gb ram) suddenly shutdown unexpectedly with battery % around 60% ish i guess and goes directly to 0% (wouldnt power on unless i plug in charger & after switch on back battery shows 1% charging) , what could be the problem? bios ? or battery or something else? i was running adobe software though but nothing heavy rendering occur, just simple copy paste stuff. Please enlighten me on this

Btw, it does have TG applied. Hence i was wondering if these temps are normal. Haven't tried undervolting both CPU or GPU before though. Any guidelines?

BTW, mine has BT connection issues with my xbox controller. When i am using the controller leaning back in my chair with the controller on my lap, it disconnects. It's better when i have the controller situated right in front of the laptop though. Anyone has this similar issue?

I just got my onyx yesterday, I'm trying to update my steam and install my microsoft office 2016 pro plus, but keep getting error logs stating internet connection error. Tried updating my network drives and reinstalling the programs still ain't working. Please help. thanks.
