My car fc getting worse from 7L to 10L, now 13L /km. Mielage >100k. car feeling bit sluggish when step accelerator.

Anything should I look out for?

Should start with Spark plugs, new Engine oil and air filter

changed spark plugs last year,
just change engine oil filter few month back. using fully synthium 0-40 something

Got try clean O2 sensor? ..and check dipstick engine oil not overfilled.

Just give a try, i got persona vvt with similar problem improves after changed. Before change put a bottle of bardahl fuel injector cleaner run for 2k km.

Check your brakes also, get them serviced. Sometimes the piston/brake shoe doesn't retract properly causing additional drag.

So.. my Iriz 1.3 CVT got gearbox problems ady..

Need recommendations for gearbox expert workshops.. Also thinking to do treatment first see whether it helps or not.. But need to know where can do such services as well..

oxygen senser nees special tool, haaiiihh..

Tool can buy from shoppe less than rm15, what i did was removes oxygen sensor rendam in petrol overnight. Clean the throttle body/map sensor sekali manage to improves from 8.8l/100km to 8.2l/100km.

I did remove the O2 sensor but spray the Aeropak Throttle body cleaner. I think the best to clean the catalytic converter for better effect. I did ask few shop but need rm800, so cancel.

End up spray the cleaner at throttle body while rev it at 3.5k rpm. Engine felt light after that

Double check is it the correct spark plugs for Iriz? Past experiences long time ago, one workshop accidentally choose the Wira specified plug to my 1.6 Waja, end up FC lari too much but the engine power lost it breath at above 3k rpm. It end up top speed at 130kmh only. Thats my experience. After replacing it to Waja plug, then only ok.

Another to check, the plug coil, check condition wise

Planning to buy Iriz for wife to use in town. For the newest version, Can the HU put AA/CP? Can put 360 camera?

I think the executive version is enough, and noticed the LED lights are plug and play with halogen ones anyone tried this?

Wife doesn't need a big car, since want to drive back after 10 years. Is this an easy car to handle? Also doubt the mileage will be high since only she is using it while I am outstation. If not we commute to work together in my car. Should I just buy a used model?

Unfortunately for Proton car, financially best to buy used cz cheap price 2nd. Best to buy from individual than used car.
If budget got, just purchase those HU with those AA ACP ready, accessories shop even can add camera for 360. Else find few installers who can hack the geely made HU for hacking it to install AA ACP like those who done it at x70, x90, x50, s70.

Good-so got AA ACP for current Iriz then?

I need help. My Iriz 1.6 CVT 2015 has some aircond problem. After top up the refrigerants, it could only lasts for max of 2 weeks, then it'll be very empty. Confirm leak but I don't know where, got some suspect la. I found some oil dripping from the hose drain down at the engine bay, looks like it came from the cooler assembly.

For reference, I just changed the condenser and cooling coil last year, and just a month back I just changed the hose going from the condenser to the compressor cause found some evidence of leak there.

The stock HU dont come with both AA ACP. But many owner pay for some for the installer to install both

My other car the workshop just open up the cooling coil and submerged it under water. No leaking sign there. Turn out the connecting part between cooling coil which had rubber O-ring burst already. So replace that rubber O-ring, install back, refill gas via flushing machine, car AC still cold as new at 10 years old.

I do actually suspect that the last installers didn't bother to replace the rubber o-ring, cause the coil was only a year old so it couldn't be that it was already damaged. But to access the O-ring at the valve itself would require the disassembly of the whole cooling assembly, and the whole dashboard itself.
Or is there a way to do it without needing to cabut the whole dash?

How old is the car?

7 years old when had 1st aircond issues. Nearby AC shop already give quotation for new/recond compressor until change place to honest AC shop. Start doing AC flushing via machine 1 or 2 times annually at 7 years old age
