I have no idea if its me or what:

Last Tuesday I was pumping fuel in Shell station island pump no.7 on the Shah Alam highway. As usual the pre-authorized debit took place with the amount of RM150.00.

On Friday as usual they credit the RM150.00 back and till today no deductions were made for the petrol which was RM60.00.

They deduct at the end of the month or what? Just checked my balance at maybank2u online and still the same balance.

Edit: By the way, I am using Maybank's Visa Debit

If i'm not mistaken, i got my Public Bank Visa Electron PIN No just a few days (less than a week) after i received my card at my designated branch. You can start using your PBVE even if you do not have the PIN no. You just need to go to deposit money into your PBVE account via Public Bank cash deposit machine. Then you can make purchase at Amazon.com right away. Make sure you key-in the correct billing address.

By the way, you might also want to register for PBVE online banking so that you can keep track of your spending from time to time. It's a free service.

Haha, they did not charge me RM12, I got it free. tongue.gif

Btw, I do love their free annual fees, which is quite good. Unlike Public Bank, you need to spend >RM1200 to get your annual fees of RM24 to be waived.
*
i thought is >rm1000 to waive annual fee?

anyway if i change my signature, do i need to change my card as well?

I am not sure, if I not mistaken, the amount the customer service person told me is RM1200.

No need, just use back the old signature ler. Eventually, if you draw a tortoise, cashier didnt even bother. My friend tried drawing tortoise a few times when he is using his card

Public bank service very good. Maybank hire a person to press number and yet they're so slow. Really disappointing.

i registered for my PBVE through online app form. maybe that's why it took so long to process the PIN number? Will try to call customer service again. Impossible that a PIN number can take so long to issue. sad.gif

eh maybank got debit card? u mean the ATM card is it?
*
Maybank's is an ATM & Debit Card 2 in 1 . I checked with EON bank and PBB before , if you used their Debit card to withdraw money from a 3rd party bank ( other than EON & PBB ATM ) , there will be a RM10 charge. For Maybank's 2 in 1 ATM plus Debit Card , withdrawal of money from an ATM of a 3rd party bank will be charged at RM1 , but the staff told me that you need to have an account with Maybank and for a savings account the initial amount to open the account is RM250.

All those with Maybank KawanKu ATM card can replace this ATM card with the 2 in 1 card . And there will be a fee of RM12 but I forgotten to ask whether there is annual charges for this 2 in 1 card. Anyone here know about this ?

I would also like to know how is the acceptance of Maybank's Debit Visa Card ? I heard from friends that Maybank's Debit Visa Card's is not so good in terms of acceptance by merchant. Is it true ?

I just using maybankcard visa to buy converse shoes, there's no problem with the merchant, they accept it. No annual fees for maybankcard visa.

For maybank Visa Debit there is no annually fee charge into his member...that one advantage for those hate to pay annual fee visa debit like me...

Not really true regarding visa debit not accept by merchant...as fas as i use this card...to buy clothes or something else...they just accept like usual credit card smile.gif
