so it's true that Maybank visa debit card can't be used for online purchases at the moment... maybe you want to try to apply for a PBVE card or tunemoney.com card? both of them are proven to be usable online. smile.gif

have no interest with so many debit cards or credit cards tongue.gif i got myself MOL Freedom Debit Card but with the annual fees of RM12 it is not totally worth it, the worst part is every time when i need to reload my prepaid debit card, be it reloading through Maybank2u or 7-11 other than EON Bank it will charge a RM2 transaction fund sad.gif

Guess one of the reason for most people failing to do online transaction is due to the implementation of the card. It just came out, it is still new, not all the online business  knows about the card.

Guess have to give them (Maybank) sometime to change the Maybank Visa Debit Card into a useful Card that can be used for online transaction and other usage. instead of all advertisement and useless usage. Since Maybank advertise the card how well it is, how good the card is etc.

But time is limited for them as other banks are introducing better Debit Card. So pray and hope Maybank improves its' services and the usage of the Maybank Visa Debit Card else paying RM12 just to change from ATM card to the card is pointless if the usage are limited.

Just my 2 internet sen by the way hope no one in the banking fields who are working for Maybank are offended. tongue.gif

Haha, they did not charge me RM12, I got it free. tongue.gif

Btw, I do love their free annual fees, which is quite good. Unlike Public Bank, you need to spend >RM1200 to get your annual fees of RM24 to be waived.

but a debit card is pretty useless for me if it doesn't do online transactions. don't mind about the annual fees, just allow me to do my online shopping without fail and I'm pretty much satisfied... smile.gif

Yes, true. I did a lot of online purchases online. Sometime it do help me as I doesn't like to withdraw much cash out. Still I try to control of course. Public bank visa eletron will be my primary debit card, while maybank visa debit will be my secondary card

Once I got the card, she explain to me that I need to change my pin again. Default pin is 123456. And I ask her other question like, payment limit, PLUS activation, etc. And I ask her, 'so I go to ATM and do it straight is it and do it all over again?'. She said yes and I straight go. After everything done and get into my car, I only remember they forgotten to collect RM12 from me laugh.gif

Checked, none. rclxm9.gif Usually when they will auto-credit from your account, they won't inform you, right? tongue.gif

i think it's the other way around... for now I prefer the PBVE over MVD... but MVD is very convenient so hopefully something will be done about the problems it's facing right now. smile.gif
