yes.its like u see how the people use their credit card.grab the thing u wan to buy ,pass it to the cashier, see if they accept cards or not.if accept, then just pass the card to them and then,if the transaction is successful, they will ask u to sign the receipt.tats all...
when u get ur card?dun worry.they will send to u soon |

i recently went to public bank to apply for a debit card to verify my paypal account... they had 2 types of cards...
type A debit card comes with a savings accounts and costs RM24 per year unless you spend RM1000. card takes about 3 - 4 weeks to process type B debit comes without a savings accounts and costs RM12 per year. card can be issued immediately i decided to go for type A debit card... any significant different between the two and any problems? |

QUOTE(lostasylum @ Sep 29 2009, 03:24 PM) type A debit card comes with a savings accounts and costs RM24 per year unless you spend RM1000. card takes about 3 - 4 weeks to process I think you have mixed up type A and type B. Type A is called VISA Electron and it doesn't come with a savings account while Type B is called Day2Day VISA Debit and you must a savings account with Public Bank in order to be eligible for Day2Day VISA Debit. I have used Type A before and currently using Type B. I personally prefer Type B because the card can be issued right away. Less hassle this way and you will get your card pin number straight.type B debit comes without a savings accounts and costs RM12 per year. card can be issued immediately I was wondering if Public Bank will ever reduce the annual for Public Bank Day2Day VISA Debit because RM12 is a bit high for me This post has been edited by MilesAndMore: Sep 29 2009, 04:53 PM |

QUOTE(nanakopy87 @ Sep 29 2009, 04:45 PM) ya.i think they should reduce it to RM8 since most of the bank charge only RM8 for annual fee And i also think Public Bank should just do away their regular ATM card (the one that is only supported at MEPS ATM). While Public Bank will now issue the Day2Day VISA Debit cards to all their new customers, we can actually still choose if we want the regular ATM card at RM8/pa or Day2Day VISA Debit at RM12/pa. I also hope Public Bank will seriously reconsider the design of the Day2Day VISA Debit Card. I mean the card design is only suitable for teens and young adults. Imagine our 50-year-old mother/father pull out the card from their wallet, that is just weird ![]() |
