*
for low amount... d interest rate is still low... only if u have a lot... but if u have a lot might as well invest

QUOTE(influenza04 @ Mar 19 2008, 09:04 AM)
stanchart kinda inconvenient in terms of number of branches. even in major towns also sometimes dont have. any way to bank-in money into stanchart without the need of going to the branch itself?
*
commercial merchant bank.. not public bank.. so dont expect a lot of branches... yeaps.. u can use other atms but will be charged

QUOTE(neoxz @ Mar 19 2008, 09:12 AM)

I think debit cards and credit cards works the same way when you pump petrol, RM150 will be deducted from your card until everything is processed only credit back the amount to your card. Just that with credit cards, you do not know about this cause usually credit limit is > RM150...
*
pay over d counter... then you wont be charge rm150...

It is recommended to use our debit card when oversea?
What is the rate and charges? I understand rate from the bank is quite low, am I right?

Is there any side charges from the bank?
*
the rate follows visa/mastercard... the charge depends on the bank... usualy max 5%... last time my US bank charges me 2% but rebates 3% ... lol
