Public bank service very good. Maybank hire a person to press number and yet they're so slow. Really disappointing.

i registered for my PBVE through online app form. maybe that's why it took so long to process the PIN number? Will try to call customer service again. Impossible that a PIN number can take so long to issue.

Owh..if only i read ur post earlier,i would have used dat exact word. I wanted to buy a new spectacles today,ask da cashier can use visa or not,then I gatal ask him can use maybank debit card or not?ofcourse he would say no..caused i wauz in a hurry,dunt have time to argue with him, so end up using my CC. But da prob with maybank debit card is dat maybank had been relentlessy advertising disdebit card. So ppl,esp the cashier,already know how da debit card looks like..as an example of the  bata shoe shop, i didnt say dat its a debit card, but da cashier knew..dats why she doesnt want to swipe..

The other day I went to a Maybank Branch located in Sunway Pyramid New Wing to ask regarding the online transaction features. Which most of us are facing as we can't use the Maybank Visa Debit Card for online transaction.

The staff told me that the online transaction features won't be usable quite yet as they are sending our card numbers to oversea bank to confirm the card is a real Visa Card. The Staff told me that we can use the card for online transaction as early as June? (regarding the exact month or Date to be able to use it for online transaction no idea)

Hope we can use our Maybank Visa Debit Card as soon as possible. Can't blame Maybank for the bad debit card services. They are still new to the field of Debit Card. Give them sometime and things will work out exactly like a real Visa Card. In the mean time, Hang on to your Maybank Visa Debit Card. The features are a bomb just need sometime for the local and overseas bank to implement the card into their system.

can the mvd be used for online transactions for local companies such as booking hotel in genting and buying flight tickets frm air asia?anyone used their mvd for the above 2 transactions?do i need to get a pin?

Yea I'm using PBVE as well. But looking for alternative Debit Mastercard just incase some place do not accept Visa. But seems like all Debit Mastercard I know have annual fee.

Oh ya do you know how much I need to spend annually on PBVE to get the fee waiver? RM1000 or RM1200?

i have Pbb visa electron , maybank debit vasa, and Ambank nexG. The best still Pbb , worst is NexG . FYI, maybank debit visa cannot use to purchase online, neither paypal.

How to register for public bank online for public bank visa electron? When i go to the atm and insert my card it does not have the function to register pb ebanking. Please help....    THANK YOU

It was stated that we can see our transaction e-statement, but where can i find it? Maybank2U?

Btw, hopefully Maybank can quickly upgrade the service for Paypal and Ebay usage.

i used my mvd card to pour petrol then the transaction was cancelled the first time coz my smiles card couldnt b detected..then i did the process again but when i checked my account they have debited it twice!! what should i do?anyone experienced this before...

i kena worse lar... i pump rm1+ then have to wait for them to rebate me back... my sis pump full and didnt tell me ... zzz and i stupid didnt see the petrol level also... hahahaaa

wah so scary meh pump RM8 but been charge RM150.. i just got mine PBB Visa Electron Debit Card on monday.. too bad i tried 3 different website to pay for hotel reservation online but failed, when called the card center they said those merchant doesn't accept debit card..

so now i have to use the debit card to pump petrol only to get the free annual fees if spend over 1.2k annually. I pumped in RM46 but duno will it charge wrongly? Have to link the debit card with my e-banking account to check balance but have to go to any branch and fill up a form.

If check balance manually the bank will charge RM10..

the rate follows visa/mastercard... the charge depends on the bank... usualy max 5%... last time my US bank charges me 2% but rebates 3% ... lol
