I just received a job offer from RAM group as an Analyst/Associate Analyst for their credit rating division.

I have experiences in Accounting & Corporate Finance. Although they're offering me a little bit higher in terms of remuneration (but parking, food there also exp rclxub.gif ), I fear that my knowledge & existing skills set won't be utilised well...as they've mentioned a huge portion of the work is writing and analysing only.

Anybody worked there before? would like to know more about the company culture, working environment etc

thank you all

I accepted the offer and stayed for about a year. Overall a very negative experience, leadership and management is very very bad depending on the team that you're assigned to.

Company's financials not doing well post the deregulation in the rating industry, business went downhill every since. The current income deriving from rating activities is a mere fraction of what it was before.

It's a relative small company, with no proper SOP's and processes in place. If one person doesn't like you, kiss your bonus and increment goodbye for the year. Turnover rates are extremely bad, within a span of a year I've seen countless people come and go.

With such shitty environment and lousy management capabilities, its no wonder they can't retain people.

I see. Thanks for sharing your experience. Can I ask previously in RAM you are responsible for analysing financial performance of customer?

Credit rating for corporates. If you're referring to RAMCI, it's the subsidiary and it handles credit profiles on a personal level
