After hundreds of time trying to uprank in Asia server in solo mode FPP and matchmaking always failed I decided to migrate to North America server.

And 46 rounds of matches I got into top 30 solo wins for Malaysia region.

Why always china gets the good stuff.. Haiz..
I also heard there's some items and modes that's exclusive to them.

Guys how come no matter which region i choose when a play 4 member team i always get indon team mates???
can you guys share your id so i can add your? How come TS never put it on the 1st page??

Me too, and on the KRJP it's always Koreans only, seldom see any Japanese.

Lately I'm getting Malaysian players though…

Change to lowest, put extreme frame rate.
Even with my s9 i still go low cause pubg tend to eat up battery.
In your case give it some time for ios to optimize the app.

I tried to que solo in fpp mode coz need to complete achievements since i still in bronze V. Should be easy but queued for 7 to 8 minutes still unable to find any match. Sad.

Because of the same reason you're asking, why your phone becomes hot. Much like a pc, power is needed for the game to run smooth, more power=more battery=more heat. If you run a high end graphic on a laptop running on battery, you'll get the same result.
My suggestion to lower is to keep the battery cool and the gameplay from becoming sluggish but counter back with higher fps. This helps for you to save the battery life, while enjoying a smooth gameplay. This game is for you to enjoy the battle, not to enjoy the graphic.
