few info needed b4 can really comment:
1. what is d load temp like? (CPU as well as VRM temp)
2 .is it stable with lower cpu multi (say 38x or 39x), just in case the instability is not entirely due to CPU
3. what is d mem freq & timing
4. what is d vDimm & vIMC like
u can see even @ 4GHz the load temp of VRM is higher than CPU, & mind u that's with just 1.25V @ vCore. if u can tame d temp of VRM (& CPU) ofcoz u'll have better mileage.

btw, since u have an X chip, u might as well give it d best cooling (CPU & VRM) & let d XFR 2.0 to do its works. 2600X has a boost clock of 4.2GHz if am not mistaken.
Ryzen can't overclock well. Try to stay within the limit of their "basic" overclock, they become unstable after 4k. The only one that can go bit over 4 and stay stable is 2700x, but even that one can't go over 4.2, 4.3k.1. what is d load temp like? (CPU as well as VRM temp)
