QUOTE(danieltay @ Sep 24 2018, 04:03 PM) what is the difference against this one? One is HDMI 2.0 (recommended for UHD), the other one (Shopee) is regular HDMI up to 1.4https://shopee.com.my/Belkin-High-Speed-HDM...4247.1268612675 This post has been edited by Qash-M: Sep 24 2018, 04:21 PM |

QUOTE(danieltay @ Sep 24 2018, 04:41 PM) i see... bcoz the shoppe one product title "Belkin High-Speed HDMI to HDMI Cable with Ethernet 4K 2 Meter" Yea, shopee link is HDMI 1.4......10.2Gbps up to HD 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels)may i know what is the 4k in the title means? My cables are (AV10168bt2M-BLK)........HDMI 2.0......18Gbps ........ UHD 2160p resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels or 4096 x 2160 pixels) However, HDMI 1.4 supported 4K resolutions, yes, but only at 24 or 30 frames per second. That works fine for movies, but isn't useful for gaming and many TV broadcasts, which require 50 or 60 fps. Also, HDMI 1.4 limited 4K Ultra HD content to 8-bit color, though it is capable of 10- or 12-bit color. This post has been edited by stasio: Sep 24 2018, 08:32 PM |

QUOTE(stasio @ Sep 24 2018, 08:17 PM) If you have budget buy Belkin HDMI 2.0....which is compatible with 1.4...1.3..version. Help guys, I am going gila soon! Edit: Got also Belkin HDMI 2.1 cable (AV10175bt2M-BLK).....48Gbps....support Dolby Vision and HDR 10. Price ~30USD I'm using centralized satellite. One month ago, my Astro suddenly cannot be booted up. Replace with a new Astro decoder, now no longer Samsung, but China brand, made in Thailand decoder given by Astro. With the new decoder, I am having two issues:- - sudden lost of sound - hdmi error 60 As I've a tv box, I've tested for a week or so, and both having lost of sound issue. As such, just a few days ago, I've change my tv motherboard. Lost of sound is solved with the change of new tv motherboard. But the hdmi error 60 remained. Ironically, my tv box has no hdmi issue at all. Assuming this should be Astro decoder issue, today get Astro to change to new decoder and new hdmi cable. After watching for a few hours, the hdmi error 60 appeared again. The hdmi error will go away when I switch off either Astro decoder or tv power adapter, and switch on again. But this hdmi error 60 will appear intermittently, whenever it like. When this error appeared, I got no problem watching sd channel. All HD channel will be blank screen with sound only. What should I do now? I am clueless! Should I buy 24k gold plated hdmi to test? Or switch hdmi port? Could it be due to centralized satellite cable issue? My friend staying in the same condo, different block and unit is having the same hdmi issue, but not frequent, only once or twice per month. Previously using Astro Samsung decoder, there is lost of audio n video intermittently on certain HD channel(some channel like 300 n 306 can watch, but 332 n 532 cannot watch), but SD channel has no problem. When this happened, I go to stb diagnostics, there is lost of signal, it appeared 65%, then 0% within seconds. Switch off Astro decoder or tv power cable not able to solve this issue. The problem will go away itself after a few minutes while i switch to watch sd channel. As for my current hdmi error 60 issue, I go stb diagnostics, no lost of signal, signal is stable. I do not know if it's related, but just telling everything I observed and tested. Please help This post has been edited by danieltay: Sep 24 2018, 09:29 PM |
