My opinion on current situation is that astro remains a winner. Astro is easy to access for old folks at home and remains thier first choice. Though we have android boxes and unifi its complicated for the old.Many retain astro just for old folks. What we need is another service provider just for TV,a simple box and a remote. I cut asstro for 6 months now.My 8mbps Screamyx is unreliable.Most of the time buffer issues during peak hours. Thank god Unifi is coming next month for me! Unifi tv is a nuisance,the box is not as simple and user friendly!I also tried Mytv which again was not reliable,frequent signals lost! Most of the time it was You Tube! This is the situation why many still keep astro,at least until another pay tv makes its debut. When PH took over I wanted to watch Local News after so many years. Used Unifi for local tv,then tried mytv both were never reliable,frequent crashes! Finally I had to fix NJOI for local tv,and compared to Mytv and Unifi,Njoi was much reliable The fact is there arent good players out there to score!

Exactly!! I think RM36 for basic HD pack for New customers is quite reasonable

Please do take care,this is tele marketing nothing on paper,so you must be cautious when you sign up! I had the same offer so I suggested they email the Offer to me but they never did or called me back! Request them to email their offer to you ,if they dont forget it

End of the day its all a political game Assteruk was the first to start SST many years before GST! The rakyat are biggest losers ! Gobind was boasting of cheap internet,what is cheap end of the day!

Here we go,now we know why we pay so high for power,medical,internet and astro ! Just to pay salaries for all CEO!! Hopefully with PMO taking over Khazanah we hope to see the end of cronyism and where public have to pay to make some richer

hd access fee was RM20 wonder how much for UHD Then comes the box,if its the same HD box then its not going to be that real UHD,doubt they wl launch another UHD box Well 20 over years with astro we know their HD isnt that HD,SD which isnt that SD,and now UHD which isnt that UHD

Agreed! What to do, there are still many out there who prefer free Rojak and astro uses that weakness for marketing Except for sports seems like there will be no more premium content coming from them

Agreed,why pay so high for UHD content,which definately will include In House Rojak channel which wl be recycled? I rather go for Netflix or others with my unifi @RM139!

sweet news Even now its not too late astro can get back all thier old customers by giving them a one time life offer of RM50 per month for all channels/Value Pack at least Unfortunately they are still arrogant and never appreciate their customers

Guess most likely that wl happen just like last time with samsung Tvs ,they hv to do something to promote UHD,limited content but high pricing

Unfortunately here mytv also sucks,frequent no signals! End of the day no choice hv to get NJOI for local news updates.When I compare NJOI and Mytv i feel njoi is more reliable! This is the scenario here and thats why astro wins end of the day Paytv and internet is getting expensive,many of us cannot afford that.For now its only dual players like TM unifi,if you are covered just get it for RM139 !
