If the new web version doesn't require the stupid plugin (DRM), then it is good. The plugin damn problematic.

Finally.
The plugin is so problematic to use.
Maybe they use a better DRM like Netflix, so more plugin needed.

Just found out something new about the new Astro Go ... when we were on Beta App in June, we were able to watch all movies channels like HBO, FOX. But since July, HBO, FOX channels are no longer available on Astro Go (web or app) for copyright purpose. I thought the new Astro Go App was a replica of Astro on my TV where whatever I can watch on my TV, I can watch on my app. Looks like it is not the case now.

Maybe that time is beta so not many users.
Plus Fox will not even notice Astro did that.
Now official release have to remove all of that.
But at least we know it is possible to beam all Astro channels to the internet.
And also Unifi did have all Fox channels on their playTV platform, but after a few months they remove it.
Maybe someone at Fox did not like it.

These channels will remain on Unifi Play as long as Unifi TV keeps paying the carriage fee and Astro can do the same if they want to carry them on Astro GO. They may not want to carry these channels on their app since they want to cut cost. smile.gif

I thought they remove it previously due to copyrights issue?
Now they add it back?
That is good news.
Hope Astro will add it back later.

I recently changed to a WiFi-enabled decoder. But it won't connect to my Orbi mesh wifi. Tried all kinds of troubleshooting already. Anyone having similar problems?

iQiYi is not directly from China broadcast, right?
So it means that astro use their licence of iQiYi and create own programs channels? confused.gif

By the way, the channel num is 300, which is previously XiYue.
So that means Njoi user can free to watch this channel also?

Recycle is always more cheaper cost than new launching one..
Luckily don't called it as "iXuHuang" (you know what I means..) devil.gif

No. Only Astro customers can watch it. Njoi customer can't watch it at all.
So it is a loss for Njoi users that they've lost 1 Mandarin channel from Njoi channel lineup.

Maybe they'll add it as part of Njoi prepaid channels offering near future.

I do notice that iQiYi channel on Astro does show some end-2018 programmes, and some is just few months old programmes.
All content from the iQiYi channel are all iQiYi Originals content, no outsource from other China TV networks like Hunan TV, Zhejiang TV all those.

Seems like the current CH number will reserve for UHD.
First place change the new CH number. Nothing new channel in coming.
