MNC has hundred of channels but mostly indonesian, if not indonesian their channels are either redundant to many that astro already offered or lower resolution and many channels are still in SD.

Prior to this, all TV providers including Astro (Aura & Rania) & unifi TV (Pesona HD), as well as some shows broadcast on free-to-air TV in Malaysia are currently distributed by Indonesia Entertainment Group (IEG)/Surya Citra Media (SCM).

Early years when Bintang & Pelangi launched on Astro’s Indo Pek in 2011, they acquired programs from multiple media outlets in Indonesia.

For Bintang, it acquired shows from Trans TV & Trans 7 channels. Meanwhile for Pelangi, beforehand it was showing classic & current movies then ended up also acquired shows from Netmediatama. That’s why you were seeing NET. logo bug besides Pelangi channel, indicating that those shows are from Netmediatama.

On May 23, 2020, Indo Pek revamped its program offerings, hence launching Astro Aura & Rania, covering shows from Surya Citra Media (SCM). Bintang & Pelangi end broadcast on June 1, 2020.

unifi TV was having MNC Channel until April 2017 when SCM’s Pesona HD took over.

After Latin America version of Boomerang was replaced Cartoonito, now it's Central and Eastern Europe version's turn for March 2023 by the same action.

Anyone managed to run BBC Player on Ultra Box?

Tried based on instructions from Astro email and website but couldn't get it to work.

After clicking the app in UB it goes straight to the page asking to scan QR code to sign in using mobile phone or tablet. After signing in my mobile phone the app in UB is not "activated" or signed in. When I clicked the app in UB (after signing in using my mobile phone), it goes to the same page asking me to scan the QR code to sign in.

Seems like something is wrong in that the signing in via my mobile phone fails to connect with the app in UB, unlike how the other apps on UB (eg I used the same method for beIn Connect and it worked, ie I can play the app on UB after signing in using my mobile phone).

RTM to broadcast AFF Cup matches from tonight

QUOTE
“This broadcast by RTM is a free-to-air (FTA) broadcast and is subject to the terms of the exclusive broadcast rights contract, which means that FTA broadcasting stations are only allowed to broadcast the match 15 minutes later than the actual time,”
That's not Live broadcast anymore. It is called delayed telecast. dry.gif
Since Astro has the exclusive license for that sport event, so they can come out whatever rules they want...?

Apparently yes...
QUOTE
Fahmi said he was aware that many football fans in the country had requested for the 2022 AFF Cup matches to be broadcast on RTM channels.

“I have also discussed with youth and sports minister Hannah Yeoh, who also suggested the same thing,” he added.
