Ah fucuk 2 minute delay on Astro. Hopefully no delay on Unifitv

Fox Sports 3 was worse. For some reason astro has 5 minutes delay. So 6 minutes delay on Plug and Play?

Amazingly Unifi TV didn't have that delay

I think only Fox Sports 3 had this problem. Astro artificially delayed it for 5 minutes, longer than even on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2. So when watching on UnifiTV, you notice this delay more than any other channel. On the Play@unifi app, Fox Sports 3 was faster, even accounting for the app introduces it's own delay

likely. since usually advert on Fox Sports are for their own sister channel (Fox, Fox Life, NatGeo), so Astro doesn't need to bother as they are showing the channels too

Football maybe. There might be some overlapping license for AFC leagues between Astro and SpoTV in this regard. For F1, I think if SpoTV has licensed it, it would already be announced

I am still amazed that we are the only country in this region that has confirmed SpoTV. Indonesia has their own seperate MotoGP license for Free to Air and OTT until end of this year, so I presume they will only add it in 2022

Also TV Sarawak has confirmed Paula Malai Ali to be joining them. I presume this is due to Brunei being nearby

Hmm, maybe it's just me, but SpoTV does not look as sharp as Fox Sports was. The image looks much more compressed.

Oh really? I blame SpoTV more than Astro on this one, since they are the one providing the source. Supersport 5 looks sharp, as well as Bein Sports, so I don't think Astro did any image manipulation to the received quality from SpoTV

All the new channels have hard coded subtitle (including AXN/Arirang/GEM/Animax) It's similar to when they introduced new channels a few years back so they can launch the new channels ASAP. Likely they would implement soft subtitle and more audio options after a few weeks

How's the quality? I dunno why but SpoTV on astro feels like it's a bit blurry

If you mean Hotstar Disney+, then it uses it's own app and not the Disney+ version that Singapore uses

Seems that Truvision will be announcing they are picking up the F1 license for Thailand later today

Supercars has been added to SpoTV as well


Also I noticed Astro has started to inject it's own adverts in SpoTV, which would exlain that 2 minutes delay. Let's see if this delay is also exist on Unifi TV later this month
