 Power Supply problem for GPU

Is it ok if i use double 6pin to 8pin to power up my gtx1070 ?

Double 6's is 12 already, the 4 goes where....?

There are adapters that can take 2x 6-pin and output to 1x 8-pin, that is if the PSU or GPU didn't have them included already.

How many ampere is your PSU? I suggest you get a proper PSU to power up your GTX1070 for stability sake. If your PSU is not giving enough juice, it could gives problems to your GPU.
