Can't seem to find a place to post this so I thought of posting it here. Hopefully somebody knowledgeable would be able to advise.

I have this item currently being shipped from China. The item was bought via Aliexpress. The problem is the tracking number did not show any result when it was entered on Poslaju or any other Global post tracking websites. The tracking udpates are only shown on Aliexpress website with the current status showing that the item has departed from the country of origin.

I have only 2 questions:-

1. Why the tracking number LP********SG did not show on any other Post Tracking websites which include Poslaju?
2. If the item is shipped from China, why there is SG behind the tracking number which suggests that it's being shipped from Singapore (instead of China)?

Any advice would be appreciated.

if you bought ur item with 'free shipping', likely u will not be able to track it once it left the origin country.

There after, it depends on ur luck if u will receive ur item. I have couple of items unable to track and did not receive too. Have to raise dispute for refund.

Thanks for the response. That sounds bad. My previous order with Aliexpress is also via Free shipping and the tracking number is shown on Poslaju and other Global post tracking websites. It is only this particular item cannot be tracked.

I guess it depends on the type of shipping company the seller on Aliexpress will use. It is unfortunate that this current order with Aliexpress did not show any tracking. Perhaps the shipping company used is the cheapest which did not show tracking. Funny thing is the tracking is shown on Aliexpress website only. But outside of Aliexpress website, the item cannot be traced.

i usually use trackingmore to track. very detailed tracking n it will show the in country courier that will pick it up n deliver to you. usually it will be handled by poslaju.

yes. there r 2 type of free shipping. u can actually check the free shipping. if it says no tracking availble, means u will not b able to track once it left the origin country. seller may hav opt for dirt cheap delivery.

currently i am still waiting for 4 purcahses from Ali, with no tracking.. Haha... 1 of it has been MIA since FEB... gonna dispute soon.

I have rechecked and my package surely cannot be tracked with any Global tracking websites which include Trackingmore. No data is available. Bad since the probability of the item getting lost is higher when it cannot be tracked. I have sent a message to the seller asking why the package cannot be tracked when the item description on their webpage has mentioned that there is tracking with the Free shipping. Perhaps they are referring to their own internal tracking with Aliexpress and not the Global tracking.

You still haven't received an item since February? It's almost 2 months already. Usually more than 1 month is not acceptable when shipped from China. Most of the items shipped from China will reach in 3 to 4 weeks latest (1 month). Pretty bad.

Will check properly next time if there is really tracking for the item with Aliexpress. I would expect the item to be traceable but apparently it's not with my current order.

I still need to get several more items from the same store on Aliexpress but I am not a bit wary on this store since there is no tracking although it was mentioned that there is tracking on particular item I have bought.

For the item that I plan to purchase, this one clearly shows there is no tracking available. But for the item which I have bought earlier, why there is no tracking when the shipment already showed there is tracking?

yea.. those that r not able to track tend to go missing, i guess nobody cares much since no tracking update as oppose to those with tracking, we can know where it is and at which stage it is.

anyway, u can check back with ALi. if it is not helping, jus press the dispute button without any hesistation. seller will always argue n increase the buyer protection. u can be kind to them to allow for another 10-20days extension, which i always do. but after that.. sorry, i wan my money back.. lol

btw, on trackingmore u r not able to even track it up to before it left the origin country? looks like gone case already. haha

Yes, the tracking number does not exist with any Post Tracking services which include Trackingmore, Poslaju, Singapore Post or any other post services. The only tracking information that is available is on Aliexpress' own tracking system which already showed the item to have left the country of origin.



When you mentioned gone case, is it implying that I will likely not receive the package? Anyway this is the first time I've shipped something from Aliexpress without tracking. I now have to be wary because the seller has appeared to be dishonest since the Shipping information on the page was described to have tracking but they have shipped without tracking. I will wait for a response from the seller but the fact that I cannot change is the shipment is confirmed to be without tracking. And for this reason I have accepted the possibility that I may not receive the package.

Just an update. Apparently there is tracking with AliExpress Standard Shipping after all. It's just that the tracking information only comes up very late, only available when the package arrives in Singapore shipped from China.

Finally, Poslaju tracking shows this information.


The tracking is only available when the package reaches Singapore, which is about 1 week after it is shipped in China.

I've now ordered additional stuff from the seller after the tracking information finally comes up. It is surely weird that the tracking is not available from the moment the package is shipped in China about 1 week ago.

The item will only appear with valid tracking if the company used a courier that utilises a connecting courier that uses a valid tracking system.

Most items no proper tracking in Malaysia.
I've experienced some with tracking when connected with pos laju.

So I've not bothered to track all of my items and will file dispute if I don't get them within the buyer protection period or expected delivery date.
