QUOTE(aibo210 @ Apr 25 2018, 10:12 PM) unifi is coming to my home next month...the guy at the booth told me it will be FTTH...im just wondering will i have single digit ping?...i use to play in internet cafe with time fiber and it got like 9ms ping on speedtest with overwatch at 19-20ms...when my unifi come will i have the same performance? if so then i no need go waste money on internet cafe play d... PS-im getting 100mbps package Overwatch (SEA) server? Ping to SG is around 12ms. You need to run on 5GHz or cable. Set router QOS settings for gaming. Ping to SYD is around 150ms as reported by in-game latency.

QUOTE(aibo210 @ Apr 25 2018, 11:05 PM) yea SEA server...u got 12ms in overwatch?? wow..with unifi? do u by any chance play world of warcraft too? if so pls let me know the ping.. Oceanic server pings home around 150ms. World if you join a US raid around 300ms as the connection routes from SYD to US However at times very high pings (seldom) that makes the game unplayable. Use WTFast which will hold pings in the 250ms range. Seldom is like couple of days every many months

QUOTE(soultaker @ Apr 25 2018, 11:28 PM) btw, i'm using stock dlink router and wifi. Stock D-Link is on 2.4GHz which is prone to wifi interference plus wifi is weak. Plus buffer bloat can be bad. The little box is pretty amazing considering its age.
