Well,ddr3 is available already,price for 2gb will be more than rm2k.
and this p5K is the one shamino using when test the X2900,isn't it?

ddr3 will be the best bet
but its gonna hell formulae for ur wallet's weight loss programme
i think shud give ddr3 a year or 2 baru price turun
and i dont think it will be that significant

my oppinion just go for ddr2 mobo at this moment, when ddr3 hv been while in market and the price become more stable and compatitive then that time the suitable time to move to ddr3 platform with new intel "ealgelake" chipset

in term of value maybe 1333 ddr2(if available) are better, but in term of perforamance sure ddr3 will perform better, consume low voltage compare ddr2 but deliver high bendwith

the price of ddr2 dropping has nothing to do with ddr3.

ddr3 production few.. therefore expensive
ddr2.. go china.. a lot.. so cheaper
ddr... less so more expensive than ddr2.

chances are enthusiast would wait till better latency rams comes out on ddr3..
took like 3 years before a cl3 ddr2 800 came out..kekeke..

using DDR3 is useless unless u OC or wait a new proc that have high stock MHz to synchronize with the RAM speed, correct me if i'm wrong

good layout??? to me only their high-end mobo have good layout or their not so high-end mobo that have Black PCB color other than that is suxx (maybe personal preference)

if time to change pun the price for the ram only can reach 2k for no reason lor i will stick on ddr2 until ddr3 price drop a lote

DDR3 ram haven release yet, now the mobo ady got.....

If i had not mistaken, tbere are some DDR3 ram that is already launched somewhere.

not all, but there got some model will be supporting ddr2 memory module

yup,already got DDR3 ram launched with CL7 poor timing but high frequency.

for me,i prefer to get a mobo with only support ddr3,no point for us to use the hybrid mah....

i don't thing it was hybrid version... bro P35 is Bearlake, the 45nm is proc which is codename Penryn

There will surely more n more lower end P35 and G33 chipset base mobo on the market soon... cheaper and many people can affort 1.

depend on board. natively support DDR2 n DDR3 but hybrid board got slots for both.

but now ddr3 is so expensive,can't buy lol...for p35 mobo,my choice is GA P35 DS3P...only can support ddr2 but is ok to me

yay i hope DFI will have a infinity dark series for P35.

yeah, when P35 going to be replace with new chipset from intel, just like infinity 965 released near the end of 965 life cycle
