My go-to tactic to max out is to pump petrol using SPay. If you got free time just swipe, pump a bit, then swipe again pump a bit (works best if you have multiple card in your wallet).

If possible i use phone to pay toll, but some toll will delay reward
If 29, 30, reward will delay to next month, counted as next month trans

Been doing it for more than a year for the tolls i use to the office whenever im WFO, so no problem to hit the 50 transactions.. usually quota done by the 24th-25th.. then i revert back to my SmartTag

Pin is safety feature and it is good. The reason why I hated it is because whenever there is an update for the watch spay plugin, all my cards get deleted. At first I added it back then after 2 more similar situation where it forced you to update the plugin and then you have to add the cards back, you just had enough and would rather use the phone instead. Not only that, the detection for the watch nfc is sometimes very poor. The phone dont need to touch the terminal also can detect but watch, literally had to touch the terminal with your watch to increase the chance that it would detect.

The watch is still awesome... just the spay plug-in sucks. Update the plugin would delete all the cards and need to add again. That also means need to call banks to reset token. Unless you remember to delete the cards before updating the plugin. Also the watch spay detection very poor. 50% chance it would detect but error...

I still love the watch despite how heavy it is. I hated it at first and even wondered why I spent 700 to purchase the classic but soon love it. Used google assistant to turn on my smart switches and even ac at home. Useful to answer call when your hands are occupied. Also useful to set alarm and never miss another alarm. You can also login to playstore web and download whatsapp beta which would then allow you to sideload the app to answer whatsapp on your watch.

Yes of course. But should not be an issue, even if you pump multiple times and each time hold RM200, will just eat a bit into your limit. In the end what is actually charged is just whatever you spent also.

Depends on the petrol station. Most of the shell I go to nowadays can wave. Anywhere can wave means can use samsung pay. But I know at least one petrol station which doesn't support ANY wave at all except inside at cashier (please don't waste cashier's time for this) - the Caltex opposite Sunway Pyramid main entrance. My main shell/petronas stations all support wave, and hence can use samsung pay easily. Generally I will swipe multiple times if no one waiting.

More and more station xan wave on pump, extra benefit wave on pump is when got contest, thay need how many tap to enter, it will count as 2 tap even you pump one time

Yes. I can use my galaxy watch to wave at pump or use the shell app to pay. Both way also hold rm200 then later change the pumped amount.

Samsung Pay passes through the MCC code, I've never had problem getting petrol-specific cashback through it (formerly Citibank Cash mastercard, Standard Chartered's SimplyCash, and RHB Shell's Shell-specific cashback), and I exclusively use Samsung Pay for petrol except where UOB (not SPay supporting) got petrol promo.

Can just go counter, ask "penuh", go pump to fill and walk back to counter and pay the actual amount pumped - sure no RM200.00 hold.

In fact why so worried about hold? It's a credit card, memang got buffer of credit, not money from your pocket.
