yea. samsung points for me is worth on small values, but when larger amount, same points, like not worth in my head. rather take CB

Spay is best for small amounts (if you're exchanging the points to buy samsung product, effectively RM1.20 each swipe for highest tier 40 points). GXBank definitely should use if the spend is larger (RM100 or so), unless there's a credit card which gives rewards in addition to SPay rewards (e.g. SCB SimplyCash reward for dining spend). Double dip is good.

Any place that allows low value transactions with CC. Preferably self service places (e.g. grocery store, petrol station).

I don't dare do this because scared drop my phone when sticking it out of the car...

The mall normally will say. Just get familiar with the malls in your area, what is their policy. Example Empire Subang (now I think they got some Nu name already) and Subang Parade got 15 minute grace period, but IIRC Sunway Pyramid don't have.

Just had a weird experience. Went to CS Grocer to buy some veges. Total about RM3. Wanted to use SPay they push my hand away and say cannot must use physical card. Anybody has any idea why do they have such policy?

In 2024, retail cashier's still displaying this kind of attitude towards, SPay is unbelieveable. Never had this kind of experience or encounter since 2019.

The cashier's behaviour of pushing my hand away and proceeds to block the tap area with her hand holding me off really pisses me off. I wonder what they were thinking when they implement such policies.

In their case, ignorance is not a bliss. They just lack the awareness and knowledge. Pay no attention to their insolance
