Maybank Debit

NSK Taman Sentosa accepts SPay for quite a while now...

Altho a few months back, they quite hesitant to accept SPay even if the machine support wave (they accept cards wave no problem, but not SPay)

So far, i'm having close to 100% success rate using SPay.
The only failure i got is bank related (Do not honour - Maybank Debit Card) but solved 2-3 days later..
And sorta failure at one on the BHP near my area... Keep getting INVLD MSG (or something like that) when using wave, but success using MST (altho it ask for my Security code)

NFC - Paywave like function.. you'll normally see Tap logo on the terminal if it support it
MST - Magnetic Secure Transmission... it simulate a 'swiping' act on the terminal.. If the terminal got card swipe slot, then MST should work on that machine

What phone are you using...
Most Samsung phone with SamsungPay supports both NFC and MST

Yeah.. a lot of merchants has upgraded their terminal..
When paying, just ask if they accepts Paywave, then you can use your phone

It's been a while, right?

They started with Maybank QR a few months back
And like 1 months+, they started accepting TnG wallet..

But unfortunately... 3 out of 4 KFC that i've been have trouble accepting QR Payment (I tried Maybank, but I think it's the same as Boost and TnG since they're using the same scanner)

There's a menu in SPay named "Card Suggestions"
There's a few cards in there, including Maybanks MasterCard CC

Does this work in Samsung Pay or just a 'recommended list' of CC?

Does anybody else got the same ads, or it's just me?

I click the ads.. it opens up the browser..
And for a second, it shows rhb website before switching to the Google Play Store

U tried preset the amount using SPay?
I tried a few times to put amount before filling... but it still goes beyond that...
No problem with slot-in card... I can preset the amount..
But not with SPay or Wave... it just won't register...

I've seen a few changes in some Petronas..

Some of them have switched to wave-enabled terminal.
It used to be MST-only before...
Some still have the Samsung Pay logo on the side of their machine...

But using less Petronas these day... Caltex/BHP if I want to do a quick pump...

I need to change phone temporarily. The previous one has Boost + Boost in SPay.
When I changed to another phone (Redmi Note 5), I can install and use Boost.
But when I try to activate Boost in SPay in Galaxy Note 5, it said I've reached max devices.
Even after installing Boost in the GNote5, still give me error when I want to activate Boost in SPay.

Read somewhere here to disable fingerprint, and tried reactivate.
Got past the login screen, but failed again after OTP.

Currently I can switch between these 2 phones.
Last one is my Note 9 which I do a factory reset. Didn't log out from that phone.
But even if I try to login from that Note 9... still failed...

Raised a ticket to Boost since Sunday. Haven't received a reply yet.

Got reply for yesterday report...

They'll check with Boost. And probably will reimburse points within 60 days.
But I still have to complete the monthly 20 txs to maintain gold level

So far the problem of not registered transactions only for Boost payment, right?
Card... still no problem.

Double confirming with those who use spay on watch...

Can only gain points if paired with Samsung samsung devices, right?
If paired with non-Samsung device, no points awarded for all transactions?

When is the last time anyone did a AA>SPay points transfer.

I'm having account problem few days back...
AA said my acc has been reactivated..
I can transfer to AA... but not back to SPay

This one I know...
But points exchange still possible until end of September...
I'm having problem right now... Wonder if anybody else have same problem

I always do double taps for Central iCity in Shah Alam..
On entrance, single tap (and they'll charge me RM2, which be cancelled seconds later)
On exit, need to 2 taps.

Except if you enter and exit within 15 minutes... Then only need to tap once
