You have that 'pay with' thing or not? If its there, you can't scroll capture. Need to dismiss that 1st, then only can scroll capture.

I recently reset my Samsung Pay app on 20th because of authorization token issue, so my transaction list showed on that date onward only with 10 transactions since then (this month I'm gold with 24 purchases made). Those who're so concern about their transaction history just reset their samsung pay app to clear the recent transaction which might be too private to share and make new 1-2 purchase as a cover item and make couple excuses if SPay CS asking why so and so. brows.gif

dismiss already, only able to capture the main page

however it work well on point transaction history and other apps

just spay card payment history not functioning mad.gif

Why so many ppl so scare to reveal their transaction like they been cheating or abusing scare samsung find out? If this is true then i am glad samsung request it because it only reveal your for last num card no, location of pay, time and date since you get gift is free why so scare?

I wrote to them 2 weeks ago and they replied:

"In regards to your inquiry, we acknowledge the survey promotion. Kindly be informed that we will deliver the promised voucher to your email address. Kindly check your mail box from time to time."

So far I haven't received it yet. I'm still waiting for it.

there are people who prefer to keep their spending patterns private.

there can be many reasons for this but it is their right.

the information can be abused, although there is a privacy terms, there are human factors involved and no one can guarantee 100% that it will not leak.

They did say that you have to accept the terms and conditions if you would like to redeem the product. Nothing comes for free.

If you are really uncomfortable with it, then you shouldn't compromise. However, this will also mean that you are giving up on the free gift.

Do let us know the outcome. I think the rest are also interested to know your next move.

Owh. Then your problem different from mine already. I have no problem scroll capture the screen of card history.

Lol yea. If don't feel comfortable giving out those info, better don't redeem once you see the t&c and let others redeem instead. But there are few loopholes being shared here that they can try. I'm interested to know the outcome too.

Try pull to show whole card, pay with xxx should show,
Then scroll up little bit let pay xxx is not show,

Well, CS called me back, and "higher management" has decreed that this is mandatory, else they will hold the item or cancel it

questions to the CS that went unanswered
- what about if i registered with an email that i don't check at all?
- what about when i reinstalled my spay app and all the transactions were cleared? (which really happened last week due to the stupid Confirm button issue)

So, i'm going to send them a card that i dont use, that doesn't have any transactions and will explain the same thing - also they should have recording proof of my call if they don't believe me.

stinks, because i rather get something for free rather than pay for it. hah.

If you give the card that doesnt reflect your spay they could reject. Pity samsung still take the effort to entertain you. Its their right to ask proof.

Point number 1 is totally on you.
Point number 2 I agree. That's something that they have to look at if they really want to impose that t&c. I did reset my spay app cause it kept giving 'do not honor' even after I reset my card with pin. All my records of transactions were deleted but since it was discussed during previous redemptions that samsung randomly asked for proof, I screenshot them before I reset. If people don't know about it and reset and redeem after they reset, there's no way they can trace the transactions record from the app. At least not that I know of.

So many what if. Some people just don't give a damn about tnc and too centred on themselves. As with any sort of online competition/redemption, they will request proof of purchases or identity. Just treat it like a receipt. The receipt will still have your card number. What's so private about it?

If you wanted privacy about your purchases, probably time to use cash only.

Btw, I personally think you should be grateful that Samsung still bother to call you to provide the information instead of telling you, nah, we have free access to all your information and purchases, therefore we will ransack through our records instead. They probably have more respect towards privacy than you think they do.

Yes it did. That was my last resort though. I've reset my card with pin twice, checked with bank CS and they told me nothing wrong with my card although they can trace my rejected transactions. Then I just deleted all data and redo everything. Was ok after that. Lol.
