A good coded game should check the save progress, and not trigger based on events

That said I believe there was a tool that can unlock achievements for a lot of steam games, might want to check that one. There is risk of course.

if u have time to play now, just buy it. if it is going to be into another backlog collection, just wait till it has discount

i means that buying a games but have end up don't play it straight away as so many unplay/unfinished games in library due no time to play,

like ff7 remake. wanna to play it when it on steam but no time yet and now got discount over 40% and it probably get discount 50% this xmas or new year. the same with crisis core, just a wait abit more
