ASUS RT-N800HP is a single band router that retails at RM350 nationwide. This router does come with an awesome quad non-detachable 7dBi antenna's. This router made as a solution to extend your wireless coverage w/out needing to invest on the third party wireless extender. In a simple word, it is a problem solver for weak wireless signals from your existing router.

The number speaks for themselves. I amazed that, I can full speed from the ASUS router even at the distance of 25m. This is a basic router I must opt. In other word, it outperforms a high end router in terms of wireless (2.4GHz).

#5 Advantage & Disadvantages

Advantage:

Four non-detachable 7dBi antennas.
Comes with a single WAN gigabit port and four LAN gigabit port.
Able to handle 10 connected devices at a time although it has small amount of RAM.
Affordable

Disadvantage:
No USB ports.
Non-replaceable antennas.
Small amount of RAM capacity.

#6 Final Verdict

This router does deliver what it claims. If you don’t plan to use a 5GHz band (Dual Band) based router, then, ASUS RT-N800HP is the answer for your wireless router alternative. This router doesn’t need a wireless extender since it is a built-in beast for those who seeks for wireless coverage.
