QHD means it is displaying a 2560 x 1440p resolution screen, so the picture will appear to be more crisp and sharper , graphics will appear to be less jagged because there are more pixels on the screen compare to FHD ( 1920 x 1080 )

The best size for viewing a QHD monitor , is at 27 inches . Anything less you won't be able to see the additional pixels in all its glory form.
As for the 32 inches Viewsonic , unless you are using it for some extreme casual PC uses , don't expect anything worthwhile if you are using it for gamings .

It has no Gsync / Freesync , high latency , low contrast ratio etc etc

One more thing , your current Graphic card is not really meant to run a QHD resolution display unless you are only using it for simple works.

If you are looking to play some games , you should pick a 1920 x 1080 monitor instead , which is still a MINOR upgrade compare to your 900p .
Your rig cannot really run all most of the modern games at 1440p without some serious downgrade on the graphic settings.

i see. ur reply does answer some of my question in mind.

1. if i wanna go 1440p i have to upgrade my gpu to atleast 1070,correct?
2. for 1080p, what is the sweet spot for it? 24" ?  if minor upgrade, i would rather not to upgrade, but still 20" monitor that im using now ,feels kinda small for me.

To reply to your first question , yes . Gtx 1070 was the King of QHD , or if you have a little bit more budget to spare , go for GTX 1070ti .
Although this is not a very good time to upgrade display Cards as their prices have been jacked up by the cryptocurrency mining industry .
Not to mention Nvidia is expected to announce their new 11 series Graphic cards in the upcoming few months , if you can wait .

For 1080p , 24 inches is indeed the best size .
But that doesn't mean you can't go for a 27inches 1080p screen if you want a larger panel.

If you truly want a great gaming experience , you will want to consider a G-sync / Free-sync monitor though the Gsync did it more elegantly than the AMD's freesync.

Unfortunately , the monitors that have all of these advanced gaming feature such as High refresh rate , low input lag , IPS panel , Adaptive sync technology are quite very expensive . So you will have to reconsider your budget first and decide if you want to upgrade to higher resolution .

In fact , quite several 4k monitors are more affordable than QHD surprisingly , but to play games on 4k you will need a monstrous PC Rig
