I'm not sure why, among all of the 'superheroes' movies I've watched, Thor was the most boring one. Even in this latest movie.

Compared to Battleship, this movie didn't have much action till the last half hour or so.
The first hour & so, the talking was too much & too boring.
Thor was major underutilized in this movie.

Way below expectation la this movie. I don't agree with most reviews telling this movie is the best superhero movie. The best should be TDK without a doubt. smile.gif

TDK and Avengers are 2 totally different genres although they are both superhero movies. one is dark, serious shxt while the other is purely entertainment and fun. u can't compare them side by side. personally i think Avengers really did great, too bad the baddies are pathetically weak

It's simple and straight to the point--awkwardness.
Great scene lol.

The Avengers - great for fighting a war in an alien invasion, bad for company

Why? The Avengers doesn't deserve it anymore than Avatar does. Both are formulaic, both bring nothing new to the table, both are pretty damn fun.

at least this movie is more entertaining to watch that that stupid piece of crap. Avengers doesn't pretend to be anything it's not

It doesn't deserve it at all?  shakehead.gif  What are you talking about... "Avatar" was a game changer. It pushed the boundaries of film-making in every possible direction and of course brought in 3D that refuses to stop until today (and even had the ripple effect on 3D TV sales, 3D gaming, etc.) Story wise, you get the idea, it can't possibly be perfect on all fronts but I seriously disagree with your statement. Not to bring in an "Avatar" discussion here, but it makes no sense what you're saying.
*
it's a game changer in 3D only, and THAT'S IT, nothing else. in my personal opinion, this movie DEGRADES quality of (big budget, high end, A grade) movies, so it totally doesn't deserve the high praises and box office revenue. If u r serious about your movies, i'm sure u'll agree with me. I know that some of you will say don't be too serious about movies because it's meant for entertainment, but for me, it's not only for entertainment, it's an art form notworthy.gif

ok, enough of my rantings, we will stop discussing other movies and back to topic

LOL. If you can put a Raccoon as a superhero in Guardian of the galaxy, there's no problem with the 10 rings and Fing Fang Foom.

Mandarin with the powerful 10 rings is the element in Ironman. Batman needs Joker. Superman needs Lex. Ironman needs...Oh well. It's a slap in the face.
*
but we don't need ironman dealing with "magic" stuff, leave that to Harry Potter...
