Kevin Feige did mention that the Captain Marvel film would depict Carol trapped between 2 realms; Earth and Space

So it's basically her origin story whereby Carol was exposed to her love interest's (Capt. Mar-vell) Kree genes, making her a Kree/human hybrid with 2 personalities: Carol and Ms.Marvel.

I really want that to happen too...unfortunately during the Q&A session Feige said that they have NO plans for Spidey, yet. He also said that Black Widow and Hulk would not have their solo franchises too but possibilities were there...Phase IV and beyond?

As for Spidey's exclusion and the Civil War event, Marvel is clearly going down a different path from MCU, just like Ultron's introduction before Ant-Man.
