Base on RM500-1000 budget, I would suggest Bellroy products for luxury commercial standard. For good quality handmade well known wallet I would suggest Onestarleathergood CXL leather. STR handmade leather wallet and Kisetsu Kaizen Crazy Horse leather wallet.

Currently I am using Bellroy Note Sleeve Designer Edition. (Designer Edition is going to be very limited and rare because Bellroy announce Designer Edition will not be restock). It is really good quality but pricey due to Designers Edition.

After all this year using wallets, I have come to a conclusion that good wallets is not necessarily come from well known brands. And I am more favor to handmade wallets this days. Following walletopia is one way to know wallets all over the world.

For me consistent and good handmade product is a luxury item. It is thoughtful products by the designer themselves from material selection and functions.

Im currently using a marbled shell cordovan wallet from Ashland Leather. Quality is great and it comes with a lifetime warranty. It gets better with age. The video shows the condition of the wallet after 8 years of use. I doubt any mainstream luxury brand can last that long
