dr jean woo, my colleague delivered 3 child by her, so i went to c her when i start my pregnancy 2017 Q1. i was decided to change my check up to KK around 5th month of my pregnancy due to JW high cost which i cant afford.

just share my experience.. because is my first pregnancy, and i am not those kanjiong person, and not much concern n question to ask the doctor and dunno wat to ask, so every month went there to take a ultrasound and ask doctor some question if u have then pay around RM150, and some blood test needed which is hep b and blood count cost around RM400, still need to take leave, due to they only open mon-fri office hour, and even u got appointment, u may also need to wait around 1-2 hours to c the doctor.

in KK, i no need pay single cents, and also need to take 1-2 hours to wait for check up, of course KK is mostly nurses take care of you and doctor only do ultrasound n consultation around 1-2 months once. and kk give free tetanus injection (which compulsory for pregnancy woman according to KK nurse, and JW didnt mention anything at all, and didnt do IGGT (diabetes test) also)

but at the end i choose deliver at PPUM la... and PPUM required to have the red book - KK check up book before going to PPUM (which i also cant understand y).

disclaimer... im not saying JW no good, but mayb not suitable for me lo.......

my experience with him is good. he is also my sister's gynae and also my sister-in-law's gynae. some of my friends chose him as their gynae too.

he is a very patient doctor. he doesn't make patients nervous. chillax type and yea can really feel relieve dealing with doctor like him. really recommended. im still bringing my wife to visit him for this 2nd pregnancy. wink.gif
