mad.gif I just scratched my macbook screen 10 minutes ago. While trying to disentangle my magsafe adapter, the three pin plug head, the three BIG BRASS PINS... one of them swung and hit the screen, resulting in a scratch... it's got a mild mild indent to it... has anybody got an idea how I can fix this? Or if Apple warranty will cover it? (what possible excuses can I make??)

Thanks!!

Sorry dude, I dont think you will get anything.. UNLESS... unless you find someway to make the screen malfunction, then you could get the screen replaced.

Or just forget about it.

For now, TRY v hard to tell urself there's nothing there - it's mind over matters. Then, u can start praying for a screen malfunction (BEFORE YOUR WARRANTY IS UP!) biggrin.gif

And I'll be much more careful when handling mine - thanks for the warning blush.gif

Try as I may... it's pretty hard not to notice... coz it blocks out some light hahaha.. but yeah, all u guys out there... not just macbook... other laptops too... if ya got any hard, sharp or metallic objects, KEEP AWAY from ur precious baby, and uhhh.. if ya need to do any disentangling, do it AWAY from your mac... not close to it, lest it swing at hit ur screen cry.gif

Haha... thanks for ur concern all!! rolleyes.gif

I will do that soon enough.. kinda busy nowadays...

If u can feel it it would be better haha.. u can actually feel a small hole.. oh well...

It is annoying sometimes, when u have light colour or white background, then the scratch is annoyingly visible sad.gif
