Guides To XMB Modding



1. u gonna make sure which Firmware (must be OE) ur using 3.03 or 3.30/3.40 because both using different set of icons..u might brick ur psp if ur using 3.03 on 3.40 oea

2. now go to recover mode by pressing "R" when booting, goto "Advance" then "option" then toggele usb (flash0)

3. go to your flash0 and backup whole folder (did this and if u brick..at least can be recover works for me)

4. just copy and replace the file u downloaded off the net such as top_menu.rco etc etc~~ in the correct folder

happy xmb modding, dont worry u hardly can brick ur psp from xmb modding..the worst case probably cant start into ur xmb only

...er simple guide la. there more like u can make ur own icons, change the position, change the sound , reboot ur psp from xmb, prx plugin like running mp3 while surfing and playing iso games

anybody know how to repair brick psp??

u must use a homebrew called SCEP_XMB, must google 4 it!!
brick, mmmm... permanent brick, must use Undiluted Platinum Chip if ur mobo is TA-079 to TA-081, if mobo is TA-82 n above... Devolution mod chip is the answer!!
p/s: bout SCEP, dont really use it so... not xpert!!!

SCEP?..er quite stupid this stuff...can take screenshot but canr take the SCEP him self lol

one simple guide...

put SCEP into ur SEFOLDER, link the plugin in to vhs.txt, enable it..tadah ur prepared to rock!

in ur xmb press "select" button and u saw a function call take screen shot ..press "O"
