Hi,I’m currently renovating my hse, need to buy ceiling fans soon..was planning to buy kdk but then I saw Deka and midea selling at a cheaper price. I’m looking at the most simple fans selling below rm200/pc. Anyone have used Deka or midea before, hows the quality and performance? Thanks in advance.

Poor experience with Deka fan, looks nice and impressive but after two years become noisy and remote control lost control. KDK used to be good but new ones are not as reliable. My kampong house got a Panasonic which lasted for at least 20years.

I'm using Deka fans and after 4 yrs, still ok, I think... remote a little less responsive, though, especially the type using button batteries... so, your call, TS...

ceiling fan is very tricky item (i trade this b4).
very nichie market, very limited factories at PRC doing this.
just opt any decent brand will do like Deka Elmark.
motor no problem, the only issue is the PCB board.
KDK Panny Alpha expensive, because they have SIRIM chop, some cheaper one no SIRIM chop.
the most important is..... while doing installation, the safety wire (steel) must install.
those china brand fan is very depend on LUCK... i got 3, 1 rosak after few months, another 2 working good after 4-5years.

I've KDK, Panasonic, Deka and Alpha fans at home.
Both KDK and Panasonic noisy after 14 years. Motor bearing kaput. The other Deka and Alpha already 5 years old and still ok. If kaput, throw away as repair will cost more than brand new.

Hi all,
planning to get a baby fan for my small master room.
1) Deka Baby 6N- 46", AC motor, 5 blade ,3 speed- rm 230
2) Rubine Vasto43- 43", DC motor, 3 blade, 5 sped- rm 600
which one offer better value, for long term usage as I do not open Aircond, fully depend on Fan. One is expensive, less blade, smaller size but DC motor.
Another one nice design 46" but AC motor, not sure hows the review, does it wobble/noisy/ cant tahan?
Please help me to choose. DC motor i heard more long lasting and quiet, isit true?

I am using Deka and KDK for 5 years already. So far Deka no problem, while KDK is being noisy after 2 years of usage.
