Type-Z (year 2001) owner here
Wanna ask you guys, have you experience muffler damaged problem due to age of the SX8?? i found quite alot of them already changed their stock muffler to after market muffler. Mine was the fibre inside the muffler no more already, which causes the rattling sound when car idle.
I saw comgeek changed his exhaust system already. I wonder how much to change to a 4-2-1 extractor to kill off my catalytic converter since i think my FC is quite high. RM50 bucks for 320km under heavy traffic jam everyday (new air filter, 5w-40 Fully Synthetic oil, new Denso Iridium plugs using IK16). Suspect my CATCON clogged already due to the age of the car.

For the 1.3 D13B ones, it was around 70k.
The 1.5 D15B ones, u add another 5k on top of the 1.3 version.
If you refer to the Type-Z which was launched in 1999, that one is almost the same as current City sold today.
