anyone here using the S9+ 256gb version? Did you manage to make use of all that storage space? (exclude photos and videos as they can be stored on the SD card).

Can anyone confirm that Sim2 slot only supports 2G/3G?
Coz my celcom sim can receive 4G+ on sim2. So not sure whether really 4G or not. |

QUOTE(weileong @ May 12 2018, 05:35 PM) I had dual sim on s9+ , currently Maxis on SIm 1 show 4G+ , the dual sim on data setting only allow 1 sim to be on 4G so this means that both sims will support 4g/3g, but only one sim will operate at 4g at a time?e.g. when sim1 is on 4g, sim2 is on stand-by in 3g? and when i switch mobile data to sim2, 4g is activated in sim2 and sim1 is in 3g stand-by? |

for those who are using "Dual Sim + SD Card" hack, do not update to the latest patch. it will give you a "there seems to be something in your SIM card tray slot that doesn't belong there. check it and try again." error. because samsung is being an a-hole and disabled it with the latest patch.
is there any way to downgrade back to the previous FW? |

QUOTE(Keatsan @ Aug 25 2018, 10:02 AM) I was using the hack but no since updated, I couldn't use 2 sim card + sd card. you don't have to root the phone to do this, right? don't want to be tripping Knox and lose samsung pay.I'm finding ways to bypass it WITHOUT root. Still no luck Edit - Flash G965FXXS1BRF3 firmware with ODIN. Choose home_csc instead if you don't want to wipe your phone. Downgrade firmware back to June Security Patch is the only way |

QUOTE(cskean @ Sep 20 2018, 01:35 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Another update for S9+... Those who are using sdcard + sim2 hack, care to share whether Samsung rectify this hack on this update? I'm using this sdcard + sim2 hack, and dare not to update since the previous update restricted this hack on S9+.... Million thanks in advance.... but the trade off is that i get much better battery life with the new updates. so no choice, have to carry 2 phones since i need the sd card slot on my S9+. Youre on exynos right? i've also not updated yet due to issue with fingerprint authentication for banking apps.I've still not updated... still contemplating whether to update or not any other major compatibility issues that was not previously present in Android 8.0? |
