any noticeable speed difference against s8 ? worth the upgrade s8 to s9

I always have problem picking either a normal sized or the plus size. the s8 no difference except screen.
but now the s9 has less specs than plus size if I read right the camera only got 1 Any idea why they make it like this? I mean, if we wanted a plus size, then go for the Note la. just ranting... |
