better reach on time lo.. bcoz the 1st day wil starts everything already..
well, i din stay hotel last time when i go..
go there early morning n it takes 3 hours by car..
make sure the 1st day u wear formal..
i stil remember last time i wear t-shirt n jeans, they dun allow me to register..
after i change formal clothes juz let me enter..
last year juz got 3 chinese seniors as fasi there..
this year better, got around 10++ to 20..

nowadays the rules not so strict compared b4...
so basically if u no buat hal, they wont cari pasal, i think..

yea.. nowadays can use both wireless and cable as well..
every room got 2 cable plug.. it's much more stable than wireless..
but once a while the connections r super sux..

yea.. heard wil shift there next sem, but hostel stil here.. everyday 6am take bus there n back on 6pm..
coz the hostel there stil in construction.. anyway, it's rumour around.. hope it wil be delayed..
troublesome only..

no new faculty, i supposed..
but there wil be several new courses coimg up...
for my course, mech n manufacturing engineering, no longer available starting next sem..
so i'm the 2nd last batch while 1st year students r the last batch for the course..
in other words, my course no juniors already..

yea.. manufactruring engineering is under fakulti kejuruteraan pembuatan & pengurusan teknologi (FKPPT)..
it became an isolated course in FKPPT..
the faculty dean is Professor Dr Ahmad Othman.. not rosdi..
i see.. u r my direct senior.. nice to meet u..

bout the shifting to pekan.. it's our PM, najib's wish to start using that new campus..
all the building r ready to use, only the hostel is stil in construction..
heard EE already confirm wil shift there, but mechy stil in discussion, whether to shift there..

anyway, my wish is to remain staying here.. hopefully..

the case now is, if shift there.. we hv lecture there, but hostel stil here..
everyday 6am bus from here to pekan, n 6pm bus from pekan back here..
juz imagine, if we juz hv 1 hour class, mayb 8-9am, we need to wait til 6pm bus back here..
wat to do for the rest of hours..?! it indirectly causing more students to skip class only..
if hostel there, stil forgivable..

1 more, shifting there really troublesome.. from klang to kuantan, then another bus from kuantan to pekan..
wat if reach kuantan midnite, no bus to pekan d..?!

after i graduate baru shift la..

yea.. u r rite.. juz mechanical and electric&electronic fac wil be shifted to pekan..
other faculties remain here..
it is stil in discussion.. if u guyz notice, our vice mpp head posted in announcement bout this thing..
mpp members wil discuss further wif dato naib cancellor regarding it n conclusion wil be made soon..
juz wait the good news from them..
i look forward on the good news (dun shift 1st since the hostel is not finish built yet)..

if u wan ask further regarding this course, or specify to ur diploma level, i can introduce a mechanical diploma fren to u anyway.. ^^

yea.. tuckchai had answer u..
briged siswa, tamadun islam/asia, n mandarin for beginner is the subjects that not only mechanical students wil take it, but all other faculty students as well..
for tamadun islam/asia, i heard my fren from other U also take it, so it's not only UMP students.. all local uni have these subjs i supposed..
yea, u hv to take all the subjs in order to complete ur diploma.. they arrange for u all, 1st sem take wat subj, 2nd sem take wat subj, 3rd sem, 4th sem n the folllowing.. juz make sure u register those subjs in every new sem..
these subjs not related to mechanical for sure, but u'll gain extra knowlegde.. eg, tamadun islam, u'll b given a task to make a site visit to comapany n noe their company management n so on.. my group of 4ppl made the visit to BMW, n we really learnt from it..

ratio of male to female ar..?! not so sure.. but mechanical got the fewest female compare to other faculty. bcoz this course normally not so much gals wil choose 1..
some class 100% guyz without gals.. pity those class students.. ^^
